“9Cat Saga,” a new entrant in the Play-to-Earn (P2E) NFT gaming world, has begun its alpha testing phase, bringing a fresh experience to the blockchain gaming scene. This 2D shooting-style game, associated with the NFT project “9Cat,” requires players to either have a trial pass or own the relevant NFT to participate. Set in a world of unexplored planets, players engage in survival shooting gameplay, battling monsters and collecting materials.
Distinctively, the game rewards players with loot and $9Photon tokens upon task completion. These tokens are integral for upgrading in-game equipment. However, earning $9Photon tokens is contingent on the player’s energy levels; without energy, players can only collect in-game resources.
Another token, $9Meta, is slated for implementation. This token will be used for purchasing unique characters and weapons, as well as for voting in the game’s DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization). The game’s roadmap, available on its official site, indicates future developments like the launch of the “9Marketplace” and the release of the third phase of “9Cat” NFTs. Additionally, plans are underway to list the $9Meta token on unlisted cryptocurrency exchanges and DEXs (Decentralized Exchanges).
Currently, “9Cat Saga” uses $9Photon as its sole in-game currency. This token serves multiple functions, including upgrading weapons and equipment, and as an entry fee for special quests. The game also features an item called “9Fishy” that functions as a voucher. Another token, $9Milk, is used for renaming NFTs and is generated daily based on the number of “9Cat” NFTs a player owns.
“9Cat Saga” exemplifies the innovative ways blockchain technology and NFTs are being integrated into gaming, offering players both an immersive experience and potential earnings through digital assets.
